However, a number of insurers require the policyholder (you) to notify them that you are moving goods into storage. This should be your first step in obtaining insurance.
In the event that your insurer will not cover stored goods, the team at Space Station Storage can easily arrange insurance for you*. Insurance costs $2.50+GST/month for every $1,000 of insured contents (with a minimum of $7,500.00 insured and a maximum of $50,000.00).
